Here is something you can do. You can become informed and enjoy a free stew at the same time!

Eat local! Become informed ....local!.....become active...local! This is tonight, Saturday, September 28th.

It’s a BARN night for a PIPELINE fight!

Saturday, September 28th at 6 p.m. Join the Carlton County Land Stewards for an information session about Embridge Energy’s proposed Sandpiper pipeline route and what you can do to keep our region’s farmland, food supply, and natural environment safe for future generations.

It was a fun event.  I hadn't seen the movie, Wall-E, for years and I got to meet a lot of very concerned, and caring people.  People who are not willing to let stuff just happen to them, to us.  We don't need to be part of a process to send oil products to any refinery that is only go to oil company profits as they refine and ship that oil from their pipeline overseas. Buy local, eat local, be active local.  As Alice Hoffman has said:  "Once we know something, it is impossible to unknow it.  It is a tremendous burden that we all share."  Doing nothing about something that we know about is just as much of an activist for no change as those who are actively protesting for change.
